Summary:PURPOSE:To ensure a page turn-over action for every page on passbooks to obtain a correct passbook issuance processing by a method wherein an angle of a page turn-over part to the passbook is set, and the angle to be set by a set means is controlled in accordance with a difference in regidity among a cover, inner paper, and a transparent member. CONSTITUTION:Approximately the center part of a passbook P is warped upwards by rotating a pressing-up slide lever 48 leftwards, and a cover 10 is depressed on a turn-over roller 40 at the trailing part thereof to become easy to turn over. With the rotation of the turn-over roller 40, the cover 10 and inner paper are raised. When the pressing-up slide lever 48 is returned into a horizontal state, the rotating force of the turn-over roller 40 cannot be transmitted to the inner paper, and only the cover 10 is raised. In the case of turning over the relatively thin inner paper, a rotating angle theta1 of a change-over arm is decreased by controlling a pulse number of a pulse motor. A pressing-up amount of the slide lever 48 is reduced, therefore resulting in the reduction of a warped amount of the passbook P and a depressing force of the turn-over roller 40 to the inner paper. Thus, a small frictional force for a turn-over action is obtained, and the inner paper can be turned over lightly.
