PURPOSE:To display a stereoscopic image by composing each slit-like, finely divided screen of a liquid crystal display screen. CONSTITUTION:Each slit-like, finely divided screen of a liquid crystal shutter display device 1 is composed of the liquid crystal display screen. Namely, a stereoscopic image is displayed by displaying the image data used by a holographic system of a cylindrical film type on each liquid crystal display screen. For instance, there are provided an image memory corresponding to each liquid crystal display screen, an image data processing means which sequentially writes the image data in the image memory, and a display control means which reads the image data from the image memory and controls the display of each liquid crystal display screen, and therefore, the image memory is rewritten and the display image is changed. When rewriting is continuously performed in a specific cycle, a stereoscopic animation is displayed.
