Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the workability of welding by providing a notch on the inner periphery of a welded joint metal for a centrifugal concrete pile and embedding an iron plate in it. CONSTITUTION:A welded joint metal is manufactured with a notch 2 made on the inner periphery of a welded joint metal 1. A flat iron plate or a recessed iron plate 4 and a doughnut-shaped iron plate 5 for filling the notch 2 are manufactured. In the case of a centrifugal prestressed concrete pile, a centrifugal high strength concrete pile and an inner pile of a centrifugal reinforced concrete pile, the welded metals provided with a notch 3 are attached to both end faces of a reinforcement basket and put into a mold, and then concrete 9 is placed. In the case of an upper pile of the centrifugal reinforced concrete pile, the welded metal provided with the notch 3 is attached to one end face of the reinforcement basket to have the iron plate 3 embedded to be used as a single pile with a joint 6 welded.
