Summary:PURPOSE:To achieve vibration-free effect in a gravity-type ocean construction to be installed on a submarine surface, by separating a bottom part into a basse side bottom part and into a main body side bottom part, and for the horizontal external force of more than a predetermined value, by making contact surfaces of the base side bottom part and the main body side bottom part into contact with each other for slippery motion. CONSTITUTION:The lower bottom part of a hollowed construction main body 1 is separated into a base side bottom part 2 and into a main body side bottom part 3, and a dry partition 4 is provided in the center of the construction main body 1. Into the outside thereof, a water ballast 5 and a sand ballast 6 are injected or put, so as to make it a gravity-type construction. The contact surfaces of the base side bottom part 2 and of the main body side bottom part 3 is integrated with a base side bottom plate 2a and with a main body side slipper plate 3a that are made of stainless or of a Teflon processed steel plate, etc., on a concrete surface. When the horizontal external force of more than a predetermined value works, the construction main body 1 is slipped to the base side bottom part 2. earthquake energy is absorbed thereby and vibration-free effect can be obtained.
