PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting and editing of a suppress area by providing a radar apparatus with a suppress area recording device, a suppress area generating device and a tablet. CONSTITUTION:When a suppress area is designed, radar data 7 are recorded in a suppress area recording device 8. The radar data 7 thus recorded defines an area to be the suppress area. That is, the echo of a radar, when recorded, suppresses a part of a video display. However, when the recorded data are suppressed as they are, for example, the part of a vehicle or an aircraft is suppressed at the same time, an inconvenience resulting. The true object of a suppressing is to remove a fixed object. Therefore, after modified and changed in a tablet 5, suppress area data are stored in a suppress area generating device 3. Thus a setting operation is extremely facilitated and a modification can be performed in the tablet 5.
