Summary: | PURPOSE:To execute the pulse compression of an echo signal with high accuracy by providing a first delay line to receive the echo signal, a second delay line to receive the output of each tap, referring wave resistor train to receive the output of each tap and adder circuit to add currents. CONSTITUTION:The chirp wave echo signal is received with an ultrasonic vibrator 1 and amplification processing such as STC is executed to this signal by a pre-amplifier 2. Then, the signal is supplied to a first delay line 11. The outputs of respective taps T1-T4 in the first delay line 11 are respectively supplied to second delay lines (12-1)-(12-4). Then, the currents, which flow to referring wave resistor trains (13-1)-(13-4) by the instantaneous voltage of the echo signal to appear in the respective taps of the second delay lines (12-1)-(12-4) are added by a current adder 14 and the pulse compression of the chirp wave echo signal is executed. Thus, delay quantity among the respective taps T1-T4 in the first delay line 11 is set to be 1/4 of pulse width (t) in the chirp wave echo signal to be outputted from the pre-amplifier 2, for example. |
