PURPOSE:To ensure low cost and easy weld connection by constituting a peripheral wall with two layers of inner and outer portions, making the inner layer thinner at the intermediate part of a pipe and the inner layer thicker at the end of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A plastic pipe 1 has a peripheral wall 1A comprising two plastic layers of inner and outer portions. At the intermediate part B of the pipe 1, the inner layer 2 is made remarkably thinner than the outer layer 5, while the inner layer 2 is made remarkably thicker than the outer layer 5 at both ends 1C of the pipe 1. As the plastic material of the inner layer 2, high purity resin is used, including fluorocarbon resin and polyether ether ketone. The outer layer 3 is made of a material compatible with the aforesaid resin, and less expensive but high strength. As a result, the projection of the outer surface layer resin into the pipe 1 as a bead can be easily prevented during weld connection, and a connection work becomes easy.
