Summary: | PURPOSE:To remove obscurity generated in measuring distances by reproducing a carrier signal of a frequency in a difference and a sum of carriers of signals spectrum diffusing to measure phases of two reproduction signals with a reference timepiece of a receiving station. CONSTITUTION:Intermediate frequency signals as L1 and L2 are multiplied directly with a multiplier [15]. A carrier signal as L2-L1 and a carrier signal as L2+L1 obtained as output of the multiplier are extracted with band pass filters [16, 17] and the signals are subjected to a digital sampling with A/D converters [18, 19] with a signal of a reference timepiece at a receiving point as reference and obtained with a data processing computer to calculate a virtual distance. Obscurity of the virtual distance is generated at each cycle of a frequency of a difference and sum between the L1 and L2 in the cases of O1(tau) and O2(tau). In other words, DELTAt1 and DELTAt2 are removed from a virtual distance measured value by the O1(tau) and O2(tau) and an ionized layer delay time from a measured value. This achieves a significant reduction in measuring time and software. |
