Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a vinyl chloride resin composition excelling in heat resistance and processability and possessing good impact resistance and a good hue by blending a vinyl chloride resin with a specified thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:100 pts. wt. vinyl chloride resin A) (desirably of a degree of polymerization of about 600-2500) is blended with B) 5-100 pts.wt. desirably 7-80 pts.wt. copolymer of a monomer mixture comprising 0.5-8wt.% desirably 0.7-7wt.% unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride (e.g. maleic anhydride), 5-35wt.% particularly 8-33wt.% maleimide compound (e.g. N-phenylmaleimide), 5-30wt.% particularly 7-25wt.% vinyl cyanide monomer (particularly desirably acrylonitrile) and 45-89.5wt.% particularly 50-80wt.% styrene to obtain a vinyl chloride resin composition useful for automobile components, household electrical appliances, building materials, etc.
