PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of providing an exclusive CPU each control program processor by providing an NC controller with a CPU capable of executing time division processing of plural kinds of control programs. CONSTITUTION:When a PC stop/CNC start pulse is outputted from a CPU 103 in a time division processing period Ts shown in Fig.(a), PC control is stopped at first, and then CNC control is started. After the passage of a fixed period (TCNC) from the start of CNC control, a CNC control stop/PC control start pulse (Fig.b) is outputted. Thereby, the CNC control is stopped and the PC control is restarted. The PC control is continued until the PC control stop/ CNC control start pulse (Fig.a) is outputted again after the stop of one period of time division processing. Then, the PC control stop/CNC control start pulse and the CNC control stop/PC control start pulse are alternately outputted in each time division processing period and CNC control and PC control are alternately executed with time division under the control of the CPU 103.
