Summary:PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the storage area of a memory by storing an individual number code and a message code in the memory when a message code is inserted, and it the message code is not inserted, storing only the individual number code. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 6 is provided with a call signal deciding means 62 and a storage control means 63 in addition to a call information control means 61 and the means 62 decides whether a message code is inserted or not in a selective call signal received when a call to the selfmachine is generated. On the other hand, the means 3 is driven in accordance with the decided result, and the insertion of the message code is decided, stores the individual number code and the message code inserted into the received selective call signal in the memory 10. When the message code is not inserted, only the individual number code is stored in the memory 10. Consequently, the storage area of the memory 10 can be effectively used.
