Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic capacitor of a very low loss by a method wherein internal electrode layers containing a conductive oxide, which is represented by a specified formula, and Ag are laminated in a ceramic dielectric layer having a perovskite structure and the dielectric layer and the electrode layers are sintered at a prescribed temperature. CONSTITUTION:Internal electrode layers 2 containing a conductive oxide, which is represented by a formula of La1-XMxCuO4 (provided that, M: Ba or Sr) and is subject to 0<x<0.7 in the formula, and Ag are laminated in a ceramic dielectric layer 1 having a perovskite structure and the layers 1 and 2 are sintered at temperatures of 100 to 1100 deg.C, whereby a low-loss ceramic capacitor is formed. In that case, the Cu can be contained excessively in a range less 50% than a necessary amount to satisfy a formula of La2-xMxCuO4. The content of the Ag is set in 5wt.% or less to 100wt.% of the conductive oxide and can ba set in excess of 5wt.% and in 80wt.% or less. Moreover, the dielectric layer can contain BaTiO2 as its main component and Lif and BaLiF2 as its sintering assistant and can contain Pb(Fe1/2 to 2/3Nb1/2 to 1/3)O2-Pb(Fe2/2W1/2)O2 as its main component.
