Summary: | PURPOSE:To effectively prevent engine stall when an engine is suddenly decelerated by adding an idle sub-spring for pushing back a gover nor lever to the fuel increase side in the midway of turning of the governor lever caused by expanding operation of a governor weight interlocking with rotation of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A reverse Angleich lever 16 is supported by a shaft 15 on the lower end portion of a tension lever 8 which is supported by a shaft 7 and urged to the fuel increase side by a governor spring 10, and a governor lever 22 is supported on the upper portion thereof by a shaft 17. A fuel increase/ decrease rack 38 of a fuel injection pump is connected to the upper end portion of the governor lever 22 through a link. A shift portion 25 is provided on the lower end portion of the governor lever 22 and brought into contact with a governor sleeve 5 moved in the axial direction by a governor weight 3 expanded according to the rotation of a cam shaft 2. A spring back plate 22a is provided on the governor lever 22, and an idle sub-spring 40 for pushing back the governor lever to the fuel increase side in the midway of turning of the governor lever 22 is provided opposite to the back plate 22a. |
