PURPOSE:To execute a recording at an optimum recording level to make the most of a wide dynamic range by executing an adjustment so as to make the digital level of a recording signal from a digital signal line and the A/D conversion level of an analog input signal into the same or a definite difference. CONSTITUTION:For an analog signal inputted to an analog input terminal 2, the signal level is controlled by a level control part 6, it is inputted to an A/D converter 7, and for the output, the level is detected by a second level detecting part 5, and on the other hand, data, in which the analog signal is converted to digital data, are inputted to a digital input terminal 1, and the level is detected by a first level detecting part 3. The signal levels are compared by a level comparing part 4, and the level of the analog signal is set so as to be made into the same level as the digital level of the recording source or the level having a prescribed difference. Thus, the input signal can be recorded in making the most of the wide dynamic range.
