Summary:NEW MATERIAL:A haptenic antigen expressed by formulaI(R is immunogenic carrier substance; the terminal carbonyl in[ ]is linked to the amino group which is a part of R; m is an integer 1-3; n is an integer 5-70). EXAMPLE:A combination product of 3 {2 [4-diisopropylamino-2-phenyl-2-(pyridyl)butyramido]ethoxycarbonyl}prop ionic acid with bovine blood serumal albumin. USE:A haptenic antigen for obtaining a specific antigen against the dispyramide (a remedy for arrhythmia). PROCESS:A novel compound expressed by formula II or a reactive derivative thereof is reacted with the amino group of an immunogenic carrier substance, e.g. bovine blood serumal albumin, to give the aimed haptenic antigen expressed by formulaI. The compound expressed by formula II is obtained by reacting a compound expressed by formula III with a lower alkanolamine, and reacting the resultant compound expressed by formula IV with an equimolar amount of succinic anhydride.
