PURPOSE:To generate a command character string easily and errorlessly by selecting successively the name of a table and the name of an item from a list picture, and preserving an identification number - the name of the table - the name of a data base and the name of the table, and assembling the command character string by adding the name of correlation to the name of the table and the name of the item on the basis of those. CONSTITUTION:A syntax control part 1 preserves both of the name of the table selected from the list picture 6 of the name of the table and the name of the data base where the table is stored as coordinating them to the identification numbers. Simultaneously with this, it preserves both of the name of the item selected from the list picture 6 of the item stored in this selected table and the name of the table where this item is stored as coordinating them. Then, a name of correlation generating part 3 adds the name of the correlation to the name of the table and the name of the item to be the object of processing on the basis of these preserved identification number - name of table - name of data base and name of item - name of table, and a command assembling part 2 assembles the command character string in respect of the name of the table and the name of the item to which the name of the correlation is added, and requests its processing to a host. Thus, the command character string is easily and errorlessly generated.
