Summary:PURPOSE:To introduce a new service during normal operation of an exchange by connecting an application processor to a stored program control system electronic exchange so as to build up an applicable software structure. CONSTITUTION:A processor of an electronic exchange is started, a program 1 is operated and in the case of the service using an application processor, a trigger generating section 2 is started and a trigger signal is informed to the application processor via a communication control section 3. The processor starts an application program and a data 7 for each relevant service according to the received control signal and the basic exchange operating control section 4 relating to the electronic exchange is operated sequentially via an interpreter to execute a prescribed service.
