CONSTITUTION:A wire 5 is wound around a pipe 1 while applying a certain tension to the wire 5 and clamping force corresponding to the tension multiplied by the number of repetitions of winding is applied to the outside of the pipe 1. By the clamping force, the stress in the inside of the pipe 1 is kept in a compressed state, the residual tensile stress is improved and the stress corrosion cracking of the pipe 1 is prevented.
