PURPOSE:To form a large display image on a display plate without increasing the width size of a device, by constituting a reflection plate with a curved surface mirror which is curved so that right and left both end portions in comparison with the center portion may come nearer to a display source side. CONSTITUTION:Light projected from a display source 7 is projected on a reflection plate 13 passing through light shielding filters 11, 12, and its reflected light is projected on the display plate 6 of a display panel portion 5, and a display image is projected. A reflection plate 13 is constituted with a curved surface mirror which is curved so that right and left both end portions in comparison with the center portion may come nearer to a display source side 7. Accordingly, the display image reflected on the reflection plate 13 is curved in opposition with the curvature of the reflection plate 13, and becomes a three dimensional virtual image whose image formation position continuously changes so that the right and left both end portions may be located on this side. The width size of its display image projected on the display plate 6 becomes larger than that of a display image formed at the display source 7. Accordingly, a large display image is projected on the display plate without making the width size of the device larger.
