Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistivity and the wear resistivity of rail by mounting the rail made of synthetic resin which has a small friction coefft. and is excellent in wear resistivity on the slid surface, which is brought into contact with flight plates, of the track rails to guide the flight plates disposed in a settling pool. CONSTITUTION:The flight plates 12 circulated through the upper and lower part of the settling pool 1 with an endless chain 7 scrapes the sediments settled in the settling pool 1 in one direction. The synthetic resin rail 16 consisting of the resin having a small friction coefft. and excellent in wear resistivity, such as extra-macromolecular PE, is detachably mounted at least on the slide- contact surface, which is brought into contact with the flight plates 12, of the track rails 9-11 to guide the flight plates 12. As a result, this method improves the corrosion and the wear resistivity of the rails laid in the settling pool, reduces the exchanging frequency of shoes 14, 15 as the sliding frictional resistance between the flight plates circulatingly moved and the track rails is small, and sharply lighten the energy of power, such as the driving power.
