PURPOSE:To execute accurate positioning by boring through-holes for setting pins at a circumference in die part of a lower die, fitting the lower end to bottom face of the lower die, fitting the lower part to the through-holes, setting the projected pins from the mating face with an upper die at the upper part thereof and closely fitting the pins at the time of spotting. CONSTITUTION:In a wax pattern forming die, the lower parts 13a of plural pieces of the pins 13 are fixed to the through-holes 17 of the lower die 12 and the upper parts 13b of the pins 13 are fitted into the holes 18 having bottom bored at the prescribed position on the upper die 11. The spotting of the upper die 11 and the lower die 12 can be accurately executed. Tapered part is formed at the upper part of the pin 13, and by forming the tapered part toward deep part in the hole 18 having bottom on the die 11 fitting to this pin, the pin 13 and the hole 18 having bottom are closely brought into contact at both inclined faces and shifting at the time of spotting is made to be difficult to develop. At the time of pouring the wax, even if the forming die is held to pressurized, the pattern having accurate shape and uniform volume without developing strain, etc., in cavity part for forming this in the die with pressurizing force can be obtd. at mass production.
