Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a foamable detergent which makes it possible to retain bubbles on a drain pipe wall for a long time so that the washing effect is improved, by dissolving gelatin and a surface active agent in water. CONSTITUTION:At least 3wt.% gelatin, a surface active agent selected from anionic, cationic, and nonionic surface active agents, and if necessary, a perfume and an antiseptic to prevent the decay of gelatin are dissolved in water to give a foamable detergent. This detergent is filled into an aerosol can together with a pressurized gas to give a drain pipe washing spray.
