Summary:PURPOSE:To attain proper countermeasure such as retake of a photograph immediately on its occasion by discriminating whether or not a blur takes place in the case of taking photograph through the pressing of a shutter and raising warning when a blur takes place. CONSTITUTION:A picture memory 22 is provided, which is able to store plural photographed pictures, photographed pictures before and after a shutter 12 is depressed are stored in the picture memory 22 and the photographed picture when the shutter 12 is depressed is recorded on a picture recording medium. Then a CPU 20 discriminates whether or not there is a blur in the recorded picture through the comparison with other photographed picture stored in the picture memory 22, drives a buzzer BZ for a prescribed time when any blur takes place to warn a photographer. Thus, whether or not the photographed picture has a blur is discriminated automatically and the photographer discriminates the occurrence of a blur immediately and attains required countermeasure such as retake of the photograph as required.
