Summary:PURPOSE:To recognize a speaker through both audition and vision and to attain the conference of high attendance feeling by making audible the voice of the speaker from a loudspeaker beside a video monitor displaying the speaker. CONSTITUTION:An audio switch 51 is switched by a signal from an audio detection part 22 and sends a mixer output to a loudspeaker 4N corresponding to a speaker's conference room. Other loudspeakers 42 and 43,... are silent as the audio signal is not inputted, only the loudspeaker 4N emits sound, and the speaker's speaking content and the sound of another conference room are emitted. Thus, when the sound is outputted from the loudspeaker 4N corresponding to a video monitor 3N displaying the speaker, a person who watches the monitor 3N can discriminate which video monitor (conference room) displays the speaker, turn his eyes to the video monitor, and have a feeling similar to the case that the conference is held in one conference room.
