Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a document processor provided with a man-machine interface to be easily used by a user by providing the title processor with a function for displaying the storage information of a buffer area in a window on the display screen of a display device. CONSTITUTION:The window 102 has a space capable of displaying about 7 keywords e.g. in it. A buffer can store many keywords of about 10 keywords and keywords stored in the buffer and not stored in the window 102 can be displayed by scrolling the window screen 102. In the case of generating an event to be written as a memo during the formation of a document, a cursor is occationally moved in the window screen 102 to input the memo item through keys. As the result, the memo item is displayed on the window screen 102 and written in the buffer. Since the window display screen 102 can use as a memo note, it is unnecessary to write a memo on paper or the like and the display window can be also used as a bookmark, so that the using procedure can be improved.
