Summary:PURPOSE:To summarize a main driving device on a driving side by oscillating one of a pair of press tools arranged face to face and oscillating the whole device including a housing with another oscillator in a phase opposite to the oscillating operation of the press tools and at half a stroke. CONSTITUTION:One of right and left press tools 1 is oscillated by an electric motor 11 via a transmission gear through a block 2. A bearing 20 is mounted on a frame 21 integrated with the housing 4 and a driving system is arranged on the side of a prime motor. The position of each of the press tools 1 can be adjusted. The housing 4 is oscillated by an electric motor 17 via the transmission gear through an auxiliary connecting rod 14. The housing 4 is oscillated by wheels 12 on rails 13. When material is supplied, the press tools 1 are reciprocated once like (a) to press the material in a width direction. Synchronizing with the motion of the press tools 1, the housing 4 is reciprocated and oscillated in an opposite phase, at half a stroke and like (b). One of the press tools 1 for the material operates like (b) and the other operates like (c).
