Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the constant height of a punching blade without generating distortion in the bending part of a cutting edge when the blade is bent and worked and to eliminate an unevenness removing operation upon a punching work operation by boring grooves and groove groups in a direction orthogonal with the cutting edge on both the faces or the one face of the punching blade and bending the punching blade so as to match with the grooves and groove groups. CONSTITUTION:In a punching blade 52 built in a die board along a groove for matching with the blade cut so as to have an arbitrary angle and the bending part of R, grooves and groove groups in a direction orthogonal with a cutting edge 53 are bored on both the faces or the one face of the punching blade 52. Then, this punching blade 52 is bent so as to match with the bending part by the grooves and groove groups, thereby having a desired punching blade.
