Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent explosion of a cell by making the whole of a face coming into contact with an electrode active material in a current collector of an one- way electrode to be constituted of an ion-doped conductive polymer. CONSTITUTION:The external circumference of a negative current collector 5 is covered with conductive polymer 5a, and a covering layer of this conductive polymer 5a comes into contact with a negative electrode 4. The conductive polymer 5a is a film made up of, e.g., polyacetylene doped with a lithium ion to sufficiently reduce electric resistance. As a result, when a reverse charge condition is created by an external power source and an electrode active material is exhausted, the lithium ion is discharged to a positive electrode side from the conductive polymer 5a coated to the negative current collector 5, so that an electric resistance of the conductive polymer 5a rapidly increases with the result that the conductivity is lost. Thereby, explosion of a cell due to reverse charge can be prevented.
