Summary: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to reproduce, with a high precision, the adjustment of electrode inclination by clamping a holder member under aligning action through the application and reduction of pressure on operating fluid filled between the guide holding sleeve and the housing of a wire guide device. CONSTITUTION:When pressure is applied to operating fluid 33 by a pressure applying and reducing means 34 in this device, a guide holding sleeve 32 sustains an elastic deformation toward its center and a holder member 1 is clamped against a housing 8 under aligning action. The clamped position of the holder member 1 is secured as it was before with a positioning means 40 around a wire electrode 2. Furthermore, when the pressure is released of the operating fluid 33, the guide holding sleeve 32 returns to its original position, so that the clamping force is released and the holder member 1 can be easily taken out from the housing 8. When a hollow cap 10 is fixed on the holder member 1, machining liquid can be spurted out coaxially with the wire electrode 2 from its nozzle 10a, and the mounting and demounting of the holder member 1 can be made with the cap 10. |
