Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the bus circuit of the CPU system which reduces the size and cost of the device by constituting the bus circuit of the 16-bit CPU by using two 8-bit integrated circuits of the same constitution. CONSTITUTION:The integrated circuits 11 and 12 consist of bus circuits 1 which include control parts of 8-bit constitution, multi-bus interface control circuits 2 which controls the interface of a multi-bus, chip decoding circuits 3 which select plural peripheral devices, and selecting circuits 4 which select multi-bus interface control circuits 2 and chip decoding circuits 3. The H-side integrated circuit 11 performs multi-bus interface control and the L-side integrated circuit 12 performs chip decoding. Consequently, a connection with a multiprocessor system is made and the two integrated circuits are of the same constitution, so the development period is short; and the number of terminals may be small, so the device is reduced in size and cost.
