PURPOSE:To enable a display post to automatically detect contact with a vehicle or the like by constituting said post of a post part and a stand seat part receiving evenly the static load of the post part and disposing at least three pressure sensors at equal distances on the upper surface opposed to the bottom surface of the post part to detect the abrupt change in a pressure difference between the sensors. CONSTITUTION:A display post 1 is formed of a synthetic resin post part 2 capable of easily restoring its original state even if it is deformed by the external pressure P due to contact with a vehicle or the like and a stand seat part 3 for mounting collapsibly said post part. Also, the stand seat part 3 has a base bed 5 made of a high strength material like glass fiber reinforce plastic, at least three pressure sensors LS disposed respectively in guide recesses 5a formed at equal angular intercals on the peripheral part of said base bed and a contact sensor 8. The sensors Ls are disposed at equal angular intervals of a circle on the upper surface side opposed to a bottom surface 2a of the post part 2. Thus, the contact with the vehicle or the like can be surely automatically detected while the function of the display post can be fulfilled.
