PURPOSE: To make it possible to control the H&D curve characteristic of a photographic material and to improve color balance by composing a microcapsule of two kinds of microcapsules different from each other in sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A layer (A) containing the microcapsule and an image forming agent is formed on a substrate and the capsule is composed of the mixture of the high sensitive capsule (a) with a low sensitive capsule (b). The mixture of a 1st to 3rd microcapsules containing photosetting compositions respectively sensitive to red light, green light and blue violet light is incorporated into the layer A. Also the 1st to 3rd capsules are desirably composed of the capsule (a) and (b). Further a cyanine dye-triphenyl alkyl borate complex or the like can be added to the photosetting composition as a photopolymerization initiator.
