Summary:PURPOSE:To continuously produce stable pellets by measuring the water content of a discharge from a vibrating mill and regulating the feed of water content regulating agent according to the measured value. CONSTITUTION:Dry or wet raw material such as dust from an iron mill is mixed and kneaded with a caking agent such as coke or anthracite, a water content regulating agent such as heavy oil, etc., in two steps with vibrating mills 5, 6 and pelletizing is carried out. The water content of a discharge from the vibrating mill 5, 6 is measured with an infrared measuring device 8 and the feed of the water content regulating agent is regulated according to the measured value with a control valve 4. Stable pellets can be continuously produced.
