Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a curable composition having a prolonged pot life without detriment to curability by mixing a silylated resin with a full ester of a specified acid and a curing catalyst. CONSTITUTION:5-80wt.% polymerizable monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group [e.g., (meth)acryloxyalkylsilane] is copolymerized with 95-20wt.% another polymerizable monomer (e.g., styrene) to obtain a silylated resin having at least one hydrolyzable silyl group on the terminal or in the side chain. 100 pts.wt. said resin is mixed with 0.1-100 pts.wt. full ester of an acid selected from among carbonic, boric and phosphoric acids, desirably, diethyl carbonate or tri-n-butyl phosphate, and 0.005-20 pts.wt. curing catalyst desirably, a carboxylic acid type organotin compound (e.g., dioctyltin laurate). |
