Summary:PURPOSE:To secure positively the space for accumulating the sheaves of paper sheets fed by an impeller and the like by uniting them to be stored using a supporting piece energized by a spring and a non-energized one. CONSTITUTION:Paper sheets charged in from the A direction are conveyed in the state of being clamped between the blades 1a, 1b of an impeller and become an accumulated sheaf of paper sheets 2. A keep plate 4, while holding the sheaf of paper sheets 2, is guided by a shaft 3 so as to move toward a supporting plate 6 energized by a spring 5, a vertically movable supporting plate 7, a supporting piece 9 with its rear end rotatably supported and its tip energized downward by a spring 8 and a sheaf of paper sheets 11 receiving the downward force by its own weight and supported by a supporting piece 10. At this time, the supporting plate 7 moves downward synchronously with the keep plate 4, is drawn under a guide plate 12 for placing and guiding the sheaves of paper sheets 2, 11 and moves the sheaf of paper sheets onto the guide plate 12 so as to be united with the sheaf of paper sheets 11. As a result, the space for accumulating the sheaf of paper sheets by the impeller can be positively secured.
