Summary:PURPOSE:To decide whether or not an analog signal is recorded by providing input terminals for digital signals corresponding to analog signals and an input port for linking them with an internal bus, and detecting the ON/OFF state of the corresponding digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The input port 31 for the digital signals corresponding to individual process signals 1 (analog input) is provided. A program for deciding the ON/OFF states of the digital inputs DI1-DIn corresponding to the analog inputs AI1-DIn corresponding to the analog inputs AI1-AIn is stored in a ROM 6 and a CPU 7 executes its instruction group to detect the states of DIi (i=1-n); when the ON state is decided, AIi (i=1-n) is processed as specified and the result is printed out on recording paper through an output port 9. When the OFF state is decided, on the other hand, the data is discarded and the recording is interrupted.
