Summary:PURPOSE:A dispersant for preparing easily coal-water slurry having fluidity even at high concentration, containing a specific polyether derivative, a specified polyalkyleneimine (derivative), etc. CONSTITUTION:The desired dispersant for coal-water slurry containing (A) a polyether derivative shown by the formula (A is alcohol or phenol having one or more active hydrogens in the molecule; R1 is 3-4C alkylene oxide; l is 0-1,000; m is 50-1,000, etc.), having 5,000-100,000 molecular weight, (B) a copolymer derived from a polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether, a maleic acid-based monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with it, and (C) a polyalkyleneimine (derivative).
