Summary:PURPOSE:To control purity and recovery ratio while changing operating conditions and to obtain high-purity CO by one stage treatment in high recovery easily, by adsorbing a CO-containing mixed gas on an adsorbent carrying Cu(I), Ni, etc., by PAS method so that CO is preferentially separated in a specific temperature range. CONSTITUTION:A mixed gas such as natural gas, gas prepared as a by-product in iron mill, etc., comprising CO, CO2, N2, H2, etc. is adsorbed at 150-250 deg.C on an adsorbent carrying one or more selected from Ni, Mn, Rh, Cu(I), and Ag by using PAS method, so that CO is adsorbed in selective adsorption ability and CO is preferentially separated to give high-purity CO in high recovery ratio.
