Summary:PURPOSE:To enable a device of this design to be easily manufactured and to perform a logic operation of implication and equality by a method wherein three or more conductor wires are formed in layer in parallel with a ceramic superconductive element possessed of a magnetoresistance characteristic, and a current is made to flow through one of the wires to apply a magnetic field on the above element. CONSTITUTION:When a current is made not to flow through conductor wires 5, 6 and 7 and a magnetic field is not applied onto a superconductive element 1 while the superconductive element 1 is cooled at a temperature of 83 deg.K or lower, even a current is made to flow through a sensor through the intermediary of terminals (a) and (b), an output voltage does not appear between terminals (c) and (d) because the sensor is in a superconductive state. When a constant current I1 of 10mA is made to flow through the conductor wire 5 through the intermediary of terminal (e) and (f), a magnetic field induced by the current I1 interrupts the superconductive state of a superconductor wire 3 and enables it to become resistive, so that an output of 20muV can be obtained as an output voltage between the terminals (c) and (d) corresponding to a current I. Here, a constant current between the terminal (a) and (b) of the superconductive element 1 is 2mA.
