Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the capacity of a deodorizing catalyst upon a low temperature by providing a heating means on the surface of the deodorating catalyst provided near a cold air blow-off port for the inside of a freezing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing cover 20, accommodating a deodorizer, is fixed to the fore part of a blow-off port 19 for an ice making corner in a freezing chamber. A deodorizing catalyst 22 for absorbing smell in cold air blown off from the blow-off port 19 for ice making corner of a fan grille 7 is received in the deodorizing cover 20. In order to prevent the deterioration of the capacity of the deodorizing catalyst 22 upon a low temperature, the coil 23 of a heater is wound around the surface of the deoforizing catalyst 22. According to this method, the temperature of the deodorizing catalyst is increased by the conduction of the heater to prevent the deterioration of the processing capacity of ozone whereby the deterioration of the capacity of the deodorizing catalyst upon the low temperature may be prevented.
