Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the testing efficiency of a measuring instrument by providing a control means which restores data in a saving storage area to a main storage area so as to restart measurement interrupted by an interruption when an interruption canceling signal is outputted. CONSTITUTION:When an interrupt button 27 is pressed, an interrupt signal is outputted and all data of the test results obtained so far about lot test being executed are saved to the saving storage area of a RAM 23. Then the button 27 is pressed again after completing an urgent lot test, an interruption canceling signal is outputted and the data being saved to the saving storage area of the RAM 23 are transferred to a main storage area. Therefore, after completing the interrupting test, the interrupted normal lot tests can be continued easily on the remaining test pieces without resetting testing conditions. Thus the testing efficiency can be improved.
