Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a superconducting device excellent in operating characteristics by employing a constitution wherein magnetic field generated by passing a current in a conductor arranged in the vicinity of a ceramic superconductor is made to act on the ceramic superconductor. CONSTITUTION:When, in the state where a superconducting magnetic sensor 1 is cooled at a temperature lower than a specified value, current is not made to flow through a conductor 5, and magnetic field is not applied to a superconducting magnetic sensor 1, an output voltage does not appear between terminals (c) and (d), even if a current is made to flow through the sensor 1, because of superconducting state. When a constant current is made to flow through the conductor via terminals (e) and (f), magnetic field generated by the current breaks the superconducting state, and resistance is exhibited, so that a voltage generates between the terminals (c) and (d).
