Summary:PURPOSE:To precisely perform machining by means of a second spindle by positioning first and second spindles in respective delivery angle positions so as to deliver a work held by the first spindle onto a second spindle side. CONSTITUTION:Upon completing machining with respect to a work 36 held by means of a first spindle 3a, a main control unit 12 drives motors 3C and 5C by means of C-axis control units 21 and 22 on the basis of a work delivering program stored in a memory 16, and further positions the first and second spindles 3a and 5a in respective delivery positions while returning rotation signals from transducers 3d and 5d for generating the signals every predetermined rotary angle. The unit 12 releases the chuck 5b of the spindle 5a so as to move a spindle stock 5 together with the spindle 5a onto the spindle 3a side, fastens the chuck 5b while releases a chuck 3b, and delivers the work 36 of the spindle 5a. Therefore, the second spindle can precisely machine the work in a correlation with the rotary angle position of the first spindle.
