Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having excellent thermal oxidation stability and light stability, capable of containing an inorganic filler by blending a polyolefin with a specific phenolic antioxidant. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. polyethylene, polyisobutene, etc., is blended with (B) 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. phenolic antioxidant selected from (i) beta-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di- tertiary butylphenyl)propionic esters, (ii) hindered phenols containing isocyanuric ester group and (iii) 1,3,5-tris(3,5-ditertiary butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-2,4,6- trimethylbenzene, (C) 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. compound shown by the formula (R is 5-21C alkyl, etc.) and further (D) 1-10 pts.wt. inorganic filler (e.g., talc) and heated, melted and kneaded by a kneader to give the aimed composition.
