Summary: | PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of a whole antenna system by forming slots on a metallic plate which has a symmetrical axis in a longitudinal direction having a structure of an inverse F type antenna, balance-feeding it and forming said antenna by means of a metallic plate having an dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:The inverse F type antenna 2 having the symmetrical axis in the longitudinal direction located on a ground base 1 is arranged. The slots 10 of linear lines which is symmetrical with respect to the symmetric axis are formed in the inverse F type antenna, and a balanced driving signal is fed by conductors within co-axial line for balanced feeding 9 through a balancing unit 4 to slot feeding points 8. The inverse F type antenna is independently fed by a co-axial line for non-balanced feeding 6 in a feeding point 7 on the symmetrical axis. Since the electric lines of force in two antenna systems are not intercepted in respective feeding points by the symmetry of structure, the antenna system to which balance-feeding is executed and the antenna system to which non-balance feeding is executed, both of which have almost same volumes as one inverse F type antenna and which independently operate, can be formed. Consequently, the antenna systems which can cover a small and wide frequency band can be realized. |
