PURPOSE:To provide an agent for mildew-proofing treatment, composed of a water-repellent substance such as silicone oil containing a mildew-proofing agent, free from solvent, having fluidity, applicable without using drying step and usable in a highly humid place having poor air ventilation without lowering the workability. CONSTITUTION:A mildew-proofing agent is mixed, dispersed or dissolved in an amount of 1-10wt.% in a water-repellent substance (e.g. silicone oil or fluorine-containing oligomer) and, as necessary, a thickener, a filler, etc., are added to the mixture, etc., to obtain the objective treating agent. Since the treating agent is free from solvent and has high fluidity, the drying step for the evaporation of water or organic solvent is not necessary, the agent can be used even in a highly humid place having poor air ventilation (e.g. an underground tunnel) without lowering the workability and there is no hazard of ignition. Since the mildew-proofing agent is included in the water-repellent substance, the dissolution of the mildew-proofing agent can be prevented even in a place having dropwise condensation tendency. It can be suitably applied to rubbers and plastics.
