Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the discontinuation time of a line switching service by providing a module trouble detector and substituting a line switching action. CONSTITUTION:A module trouble detector 14 is provided, when a trouble is generated in one of the currently used modules of the like switching of an (n) versus 1 backup system, the storage address of station data to be referred in order that the line control program of a preliminary module backs up a trouble module is set in a register or a memory. Thus, since the preliminary module can substitute the line switching service of the trouble module at high speed, the discontinuation time of a line service by a module trouble can be reduced.
