Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacturing of a patterned sheet by a process wherein, upon making a melting thermoplastic resin into a pressed sheet by a cooling roll and a guide roll, a non-adhesive pattern forming sheet is inserted from the guide roll side and pressed so as to place it into close contact with an extruding sheet, afterwards, it is separated therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A melting thermoplastic resin 3 extruded from an extruding die 4 is press-held and cooled between a cooling roll 1 and a guide roll 2 so as to be made into a sheet. At this time, a sheet 5 formed with patterns is press-inserted as required from the side of the guide roll 2, and then pressed and brought into close contact with the sheet-shaped thermoplastic resin 3. In short, the resin at the side of a guide rail 2 is cooled in a state of being semi-melt and integrated with the patterned sheet 5. And the patterned thermoplastic sheet 6 and the pattern forming sheet 5 are separated. Consequently, the sheet 6 with various kinds of patterns can easily be manufactured by only replacing the pattern forming sheet 5.
