Summary: | PURPOSE:To remove a radioactive substance from a waste liquor without being affected by a high-density salt, by using a powder of oxine added activated charcoal and a filtering processing. CONSTITUTION:A salt coexistent radioactive waste liquor is supplied to a waste liquor neutralizing tank 10 for neutral processing and sent to an adjusting tank 14 with a pump 12. A powder of oxine added activated charcoal is added to the adjusting tank 14 while oxine as coagulating agent is added. A chelating adsorption of metal ions and adsorption and dispersion of a clad are performed with an agitation treatment by an agitator 16. Thereafter, the waste liquor is sent with a pump 18 to a filter 20, after the recovery and discharge of the treated liquid, the oxine added activated charcoal 42 used as secondary waste is transferred to a combustible miscellaneous solid waste incineration equipment 44 to reduce the capacity thereof by burning. This enables removal of a radioactive substance and clad affected by no high density salt. |
