Summary:PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an exhaust micro-particle purifying device by providing a bypass passage connected to an exhaust pipe upstream of a filter, and also by providing a first shut-off valve upstream of the filter and a second shut-off valve downstream of the filter. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a bypass passage connected to an exhaust pipe 12 upstream of a filter 16. Further, there are provided first and second shut-off valves 26, 28 upstream and downstream of the filter 16, respectively. Further, there is provided a counterflow passage 32 which communicates the bypass passage 14 at the position of the second shut-off valve 28 for communicating the bypass passage 14 with an exhaust passage upstream of the upstream connecting position and with the same downstream of the downstream connecting position, with the exhaust passage upstream of the filter 16. With this arrangement, it is possible to perform the counterflow regeneration of the filter with the use of only two shut-off valves, thereby it is possible to simplify the structure of the exhaust micro-particle purifying device.
